Job summary

BoyleSports Galway is seeking a Customer Service Assistant to support the Shop Manager in daily retail operations and to provide outstanding customer experiences. You will welcome customers, take bets, process transactions via EPOS, and help guests navigate our multi-channel journey.

You will work as part of a busy team in Galway, upholding high standards of presentation, compliance, and customer care, with opportunities for progression and on-the-job training.

Qualifications

Essential Skills: customer service focused; flexible across 7 days; detail-oriented with strong numeracy; confident to build rapport with customers.
Excellent communication and teamwork are required; be organised, reliable and proactive.
Passion for sport and betting; capable of presenting the BoyleSports brand and multi-channel journey.

Responsibilities

Assist the Shop Manager with day-to-day shop operations.
Open/close the shop and guide the team in absence of managers.
Process customer bets through EPOS and multiple channels.
Promote the BoyleSports brand and multi-channel journey to customers.
Maintain shop presentation, safety, and compliance standards.
Work under pressure and seek continuous improvement.
