Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is seeking a proactive sales professional for a specification-led role in Ireland's Connacht region. You will manage the full sales cycle from engagement to completion, building relationships with architects, surveyors, authorities, owners and contractors to drive opportunities in new-build and refurbishment projects.

You will also oversee procurement, prepare specifications and surveys, and deliver CPD seminars while collaborating with technical and marketing teams to resolve

Qualifications

• Proven experience in specification-led technical sales, ideally within the building envelope/construction sector.
• Strong business development and account management skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Excellent communication, presentation, influencing and negotiation skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and a results-driven, proactive approach.
• Ability to self-manage a territory, work autonomously and build a strong route-to-market network.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full specification sales process, from initial project engagement through to completion.
• Develop and maintain relationships with architects, surveyors, local authorities, building owners and contractors.
• Oversee project procurement, ensuring opportunities are tracked and progressed from specification through to sale.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities across new-build and refurbishment projects.
• Prepare and manage specifications, surveys, inspection reports and guarantees.
• Deliver CPD seminars and technical presentations to customers and industry professionals.
• Work closely with Technical, Marketing and internal sales teams to resolve technical queries and progress projects.
