Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is partnering with a leading specialist manufacturer in the construction sector to appoint an Area Sales Manager for the West of Ireland. This field-based role covers Mayo, Galway, Roscommon, Leitrim and Sligo, focusing on specification-led sales and long-term client relationships.

You will engage with architects, surveyors, local authorities, building owners and contractors, driving projects from engagement to completion and delivering CPD sessions alongside internal teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in specification-led technical sales.
• Experience in building relationships with architects and contractors.
• Strong commercial awareness and results-driven approach.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full specification sales process from engagement to completion.
• Develop and maintain relationships with architects, surveyors, authorities, owners and contractors.
• Oversee project procurement, tracking opportunities from spec to sale.
• Identify and develop new business across new-build and refurbishment projects.
• Prepare specifications, surveys, inspection reports and guarantees.
• Deliver CPD seminars and technical presentations to customers and industry professionals.
• Collaborate with Technical, Marketing and internal sales teams to resolve queries and progress projects.

About Your New Job

• Manage the full specification sales process, from initial project engagement through to completion.
• Develop and maintain relationships with architects, surveyors, local authorities, building owners and contractors.
