MedForce is seeking compassionate Social Care Workers to join our agency team, providing support for temporary emergency residential placements for children and young people.

You will work in a multidisciplinary environment, delivering high-quality, child-centred care and contributing to care plans while remaining flexible across services. This role emphasizes safeguarding, professional practice, and positive outcomes for children.

Qualifications

• Level 7 or Level 8 qualification in Social Care (or related discipline).
• Experience in residential, disability, or community services is desirable.
• CORU registration (or an application in progress) is required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Agency Contract

We are currently recruiting compassionate, motivated, and experienced Social Care Workers to join our agency team, supporting temporary emergency residential placements for children and young people.

This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who are passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of children and young people while enjoying the flexibility of agency work.

About the Role

As a Social Care Worker, you will provide high-quality, child-centred care to children and young people within temporary emergency residential placements. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will help create a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment where children can thrive.

This agency role offers flexible assignments across a range of children’s residential services while maintaining the highest standards of care and professional practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to children and young people.
• Build positive, therapeutic relationships that promote safety, trust, and wellbeing.
• Support children and young people with their daily routines, education, health, and social development.
• Contribute to the implementation of individual care plans and placement goals.
• Promote safeguarding and ensure the welfare of children and young people at all times.

Qualifications & Experience

• Must hold a full Irish driving licence and have access to a car.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland.
