Job summary

MedForce is seeking compassionate Social Care Workers to join our agency team, supporting temporary emergency residential placements for children and young people. This role offers flexibility and the chance to contribute to high-quality, child-centred care.

You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, maintain records, and uphold safeguarding standards while gaining valuable experience across a range of children's residential services.

Qualifications

• Level 7 or Level 8 qualification in Social Care.
• Experience working in residential, disability, or community services desirable.
• CORU registration (or an application in progress).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to respond calmly and effectively to challenging situations.
• A compassionate, team-focused approach to care.
• Must hold a full Irish driving licence and have access to a car.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland.

We are currently recruiting compassionate, motivated, and experienced Social Care Workers to join our agency team, supporting temporary emergency residential placements for children and young people.

About the Role

As a Social Care Worker, you will provide high-quality, child-centred care to children and young people within temporary emergency residential placements. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will help create a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment where children can thrive.

This agency role offers flexible assignments across a range of children’s residential services while maintaining the highest standards of care and professional practice.
