Job summary

Allied Health/Nursing is seeking a Social Care Worker for Children’s Services on an Agency Contract. You will support temporary emergency residential placements for children and young people, delivering high-quality, child-centred care within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include building therapeutic relationships, supporting daily routines, recording documentation, and promoting safeguarding. CORU registration or application in progress is required, and a full Irish driving licence

Qualifications

• Level 7 or Level 8 qualification in Social Care (or a related discipline) is required.
• Experience working in residential, disability, or community services is desirable.
• CORU registration (or an application in progress) is required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to respond calmly and effectively to challenging situations.
• A compassionate, team-focused approach to care.
• Must hold a full Irish driving licence and have access to a car.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland.

We are currently recruiting compassionate, motivated, and experienced Social Care Workers to join our agency team, supporting temporary emergency residential placements for children and young people.

About the Role

As a Social Care Worker, you will provide high-quality, child-centred care to children and young people within temporary emergency residential placements. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will help create a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment where children can thrive.

This agency role offers flexible assignments across a range of children’s residential services while maintaining the highest standards of care and professional practice.
