Hitachi Energy in Ireland seeks a senior Account Manager to own strategic account relationships within the Utilities sector. You will drive revenue, shape strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams across geographies.

This role is based in Dublin with travel as required, and remote work options are available. The candidate will lead sales strategies, manage key stakeholders, and develop a robust account plan to maximize long-term value.

Qualifications

• Proven sales and Account Management experience within the Utility industry or similar.
• Demonstrable experience of managing large customer relationships within Ireland’s Utility market.
• Extensive track record of developing accounts to increase lifetime value.
• Proven record of driving business development strategies to achieve business growth.
• Extensive experience in leading and/or delivering complex solution-based opportunities.
• Proven customer and stakeholder management skills, well-developed problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be a listener, a presenter and a people-person.

Responsibilities

• Identify the key business drivers within the customer’s operations and interpret implications for Hitachi Energy.
• Lead creation of sales strategies for the account, informed by customer plans.
• Develop and execute the account plan including executive relationship strategy and coverage plans.
• Manage relationships with Utilities and cultivate account relationships across channels.
• Develop and share detailed knowledge of the customer’s business strategy, buying behavior, organization and decision-makers.
• Develop a clear pipeline of opportunities and manage forecasts.
• Achieve service sales volume by selling the full service portfolio.
• Participate in negotiations of major contracts to secure sales volume.
