Job summary

BNY Mellon in Dublin, Ireland seeks a Senior Specialist to join the Transfer Agency team. You will help manage client queries, escalate issues, and support offshore processing with risk oversight across the TA process.

The role emphasizes strong collaboration with internal teams and service providers, with responsibility for fund launches and client onboarding as the department’s point of contact for escalations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of work experience in Transfer Agency.
• Broad Transfer Agency knowledge in dealing, contact centre, cash settlements, reconciliations and client service.
• Must be capable of working as part of a team and also on own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage risks as identified in the reconciliation process on behalf of our clients.
• Respond to all client queries within the required client SLA.
• Respond and assist on all queries and escalations from processing teams (Dealing, Cash Settlements, Distributions, etc.).
• Manage risks through engagement with internal teams within Transfer Agency to resolve queries.
• Engagement with the Fund Accountant, Custodian and other service providers to the fund.
• Primary escalation point on client/internal escalations and projects and error resolution.
• Manage fund launches and represent the department during the on-boarding of new Clients.
• Manage/mitigate risk within Transfer Agency team such as operational and regulatory risks.
• Organise your team to ensure sufficient cross training is in place and adequate cover in order to meet client expectations.
• Assist in the completion of staff appraisal and year‑end performance reviews.
• Managing SLA’s within Transfer Agency and escalating any potential late deliverables to the management team and / or client.
• Responsible for the quality and completion of own work.
