Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Analyst, Revenue Recognition to partner with Sales, Legal, and Pricing on contract reviews for ASC 606 compliance. You will review complex SaaS contracts, advise on accounting treatments, and support audits.

The role involves training teams, driving SOX controls, and delivering accurate revenue reporting across regions. You will work with a global Finance community, utilizing AI tools to streamline quarterly and annual reviews while maintaining thorough

Qualifications

Strong understanding of ASC 606 and SaaS revenue recognition.
Ability to liaise with Sales, Legal, Operations and Finance.
Experience in multi-functional cross border teams is preferred.

Responsibilities

Partner with Sales, Legal, Sales Operations and Pricing on revenue recognition during negotiations.
Review complex revenue contracts for US GAAP compliance and accounting treatment.
Engage with external auditors and support SOX compliance initiatives.
Drive global process improvements and leverage AI tools for reviews and reporting.
Lead training on revenue recognition rules across the Sales organization.
Deliver high levels of cross-departmental service and reporting.
Develop and maintain revenue reporting and analytics as needed.
