Job summary

Occu is seeking an experienced Property Manager to own a residential portfolio and deliver a best-in-class resident experience. You will work with the Property Management Team Lead and other teams to drive compliant, efficient operations across all properties.

You will manage tenancy admin, inspections, arrears, and service coordination while building strong relationships with residents and clients. This role emphasizes process improvement and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential property management at PM or Senior PM level.
• Strong communication and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Knowledge of tenancy management, RTB, compliance requirements.
• Proficient with property management systems; produce clear updates/reports.
• Interest in coaching and strengthening processes; team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Manage a residential portfolio with ownership, professionalism and care.
• Build relationships with residents, clients, contractors and internal teams.
• Oversee tenancy administration, RTB requirements, inspections, arrears, maintenance follow-up.
• Coordinate with contractors to ensure works are completed on time and standards maintained.
• Support budget awareness, invoice review and value-for-money decisions.
• Keep records accurate, systems up to date and communications clear.
• Take a proactive, fair approach to arrears management and communicate clearly with residents.
• Create updates for stakeholders weekly, monthly or quarterly and share operational insights.
• Collaborate across teams to maintain high standards of health, safety, compliance and procedures.
