Job summary

Jobgether is partnering to recruit a Senior Back-end Product Engineer (PHP, Symfony) based in Ireland. You will own backend product development end-to-end within a mature B2B workflow platform, shaping core systems, APIs, and data models while collaborating across teams to deliver reliable experiences and AI-powered improvements.

You’ll combine hands-on engineering with architectural decisions, contribute to testing and release processes, and help drive production-readiness and observability

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience with ownership of complex features or services.
• Strong proficiency in PHP and Symfony, with API design and DDD knowledge.
• Experience with AWS services and Kubernetes/serverless architectures.

Responsibilities

• Own backend features end-to-end from problem understanding to production release and improvement.
• Design scalable, reliable backend services, APIs and data models.
• Decompose work, make architectural decisions, and present solutions to the team.
• Collaborate across Backend, Frontend, mobile and support teams to deliver reliable experiences.
• Incorporate AI tools into daily development and drive AI practices across the team.
