Job summary

Toast Tab, Inc. is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and operate foundational distributed systems powering its platform and expansion into international markets.

You will bridge core infrastructure with product development, building low-latency storage, scalable compute clusters, and high-throughput streaming pipelines. You will work on online databases, high-availability, AI-driven PDLC infrastructure, and cost-optimized performance engineering, across AWS, Terraform,

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building scalable AWS infrastructure with IaC.
• Fluency in Python and Go for infrastructure automation and tooling.
• Deep experience operating enterprise databases (Postgres, MySQL, Oracle) and NoSQL (DynamoDB, MongoDB, OpenSearch).

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and manage low-latency storage solutions (RDS Postgres, DynamoDB, OpenSearch).
• Ensure sub-second latency and high throughput across storage engines for Toast products.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and compute pipelines.
• Optimize compute/storage costs while preserving reliability and latency SLAs.
