Moxy Dublin City Hotel is seeking an Operations Manager to lead the team and partner with the General Manager across departments, driving guest satisfaction and operational excellence in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates will bring senior management experience in a 4- or 5-star hotel, strong leadership, and a proven ability to develop staff while delivering revenue growth and cost control within an international brand.

Qualifications

• Hands-on hospitality professional
• 2+ years in a Senior Management role in a 4- or 5-star hotel
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and busy seasonal periods
• People-focused manager to mentor staff
• Identify areas for improvement in operations, costs and internal development
• Proven leadership and team development skills
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
• Knowledge of Irish hospitality standards and compliance regulations

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day hotel operation, ensuring all departments work together to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
• Be a visible, hands-on leader, engaging with guests and colleagues, maintaining high standards.
• Drive service excellence, address guest feedback, and identify opportunities to exceed expectations.
• Support hotel commercial performance with focus on revenue, profitability, budgeting, forecasting, and resource management.
• Lead, motivate and develop teams with training, communication, and performance management.
• Collaborate with Department Heads and the General Manager to improve standards and guest journey.
• Maintain health & safety, hygiene, security, and compliance across the property.
• Oversee facilities and maintenance, ensuring timely issue resolution and presentation of the property.
• Promote a strong service culture using operational and financial insight to manage costs.
• Act as a key management team member and provide duty management when required.
