Job Title: General Manager
Location: HYDE Hotel, Galway City Centre
Reports to: Chief Operations Officer
Overview of HYDE Hotel
HYDE Hotel is a 4-star, 69-bedroom boutique property in the heart of Galway City. The hotel combines high-quality accommodation with a distinctive, design-led food & beverage offering:
- HYDE Bar & Restaurant – a high-energy, standalone-style venue with its own entrance and strong local identity (not a traditional “hotel bar”).
- Jekyll – a flexible function and events space for up to 90 guests, also used as a restaurant extension on busy evenings.
- Wylde Café – a contemporary café with its own street entrance and strong daytime trade.
While the hotel’s F&B outlets are prominent and brand-defining, rooms are the core profit driver, and the successful candidate must balance a strong revenue and rooms-focus with excellence in F&B and guest experience.
