Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is seeking a Sales Executive to drive sales of generators and UPS systems across Ireland. You will meet customers on-site for part of the week, identify new business, and close sales while working closely with the Sales Administration Team to ensure accurate quotations and a smooth customer experience.

Progress opportunities through the pipeline, negotiate commercial terms, and secure purchase orders to meet and exceed targets.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in a sales role, ideally within a technical or engineering-related field.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and results-driven approach.
• Ability to manage your time autonomously and stay organised while working in a fast-paced, field-based role.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and professional demeanour with a passion for delivering great customer service.
• Valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Take a proactive, customer-focused approach to drive sales of generators and UPS systems across Ireland.
• Spend approximately 4.5 days per week meeting existing and prospective customers at their premises.
• Collaborate with the Sales Administration Team to ensure accurate, timely quotations.
• Progress opportunities through the sales pipeline, negotiate terms, and secure purchase orders.
• Maintain effective communication with customers and internal teams to complete commercial activities professionally.
