Failte Solar is a leading wholesale distributor of solar panels, inverters, batteries, mounting systems, and related renewable energy products, supplying trade customers across Ireland.

We are currently seeking a motivated, customer-focused Sales Account Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will develop and strengthen relationships with existing customers, identify new business opportunities, and help drive sales growth throughout Ireland.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in B2B sales or account management.
• Experience in renewables, electrical, construction or wholesale distribution is advantageous.
• Full clean Irish driving licence.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customer accounts.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities within assigned territories.
• Build long-term relationships with installers, electrical contractors, wholesalers, and commercial customers.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and close sales opportunities.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Conduct regular customer visits and product presentations.
• Maintain accurate customer records and sales activities in the CRM system.
• Follow up on quotations and leads to maximise conversions.
• Collaborate with the Sales Director and internal teams to ensure excellent customer service.
• Stay informed about market trends and new product developments.
• Represent the company at trade shows and events.

• Provide regular sales forecasts and activity reports to the Sales Director.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 2 years' experience in B2B sales or account management.
• Experience within renewable energy, electrical, construction, or wholesale distribution is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Full clean Irish driving licence.
