Job summary

Fáilte Solar seeks a driven Business Development Executive to grow our installer network across Ireland. This Dublin-based role is field-focused, involving frequent travel to visit installers, build relationships, and win new business.

You will provide product knowledge, pricing support, and on-site guidance, reporting to the Head of Sales. A strong track record in field sales and willingness to travel are essential; full product training is provided.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in field sales or business development in a B2B, distribution, construction, or renewables environment.
• Willingness to travel regularly across Ireland and the UK.
• Full clean driving licence and ability to travel extensively.
• Strong relationship-building and face-to-face selling skills.
• Target-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Interest in or knowledge of solar/renewable energy is a plus, but training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify, approach, and onboard new solar installer accounts across your territory.
• Conduct regular in-person visits to installers and partners.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with installer partners through face-to-face contact.
• Represent Fáilte Solar at installer sites, trade events, and industry meetups.
• Manage a client visit schedule to maximise face-to-face coverage across the territory.
• Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and revenue.
