MongoDB is seeking a Sr. Manager, Event Operations to lead the operating model behind its global Strategic Events portfolio. Reporting to the Director of Global Strategic Events, this leader owns the processes, platforms, planning cadence, and measurement framework that turn portfolio strategy into consistent, high-quality execution at scale.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in event operations, event marketing, or marketing operations with strategic impact.
• Experience leading and developing people in an events, marketing, or program operations environment.
• Track record designing operating models or playbooks adopted across teams.
• Deep expertise with event platforms, registration platforms, and AI tooling.
• Hands-on experience applying AI/automation to operational workflows.
• Strong analytical skills; able to turn data into senior stakeholder recommendations.
• Proven ability to influence across functions, seniority, and time zones.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong meeting management.
• PMP or CPM certification a plus.

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop the Strategic Events Operations team with clear priorities and performance standards.
• Design and own the event operating model, intake workflows, governance, and playbooks.
• Translate strategy into execution with event plans and resourcing models.
• Own the events technology and data ecosystem; standardize, integrate, automate, or retire tools.
• Build agentic workflows using AI and automation across planning, registration, and reporting.
• Plan capacity and manage the global events calendar, surfacing risks early.
• Drive measurement and reporting; define metrics and post-event reporting for leadership.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Partner teams to align priorities and budgets.
• Continuously improve processes and tools to enable growth with existing resources.
