Job summary

MongoDB is seeking an Engineering Manager to join the Atlas Growth Team in Dublin on a hybrid basis. You will lead a team designing, building and testing new features for MongoDB Atlas, our developer data platform that drives a large share of our revenue.

You will work with cross-functional partners, product, design and analytics to shape the roadmap, balance feasibility with market needs, and mentor engineers while maintaining production features.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience.
• At least 2 years of people management experience.
• Experience with distributed backend systems.
• Proficient with a modern web stack (React, TypeScript).
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong product analytics and experimentation knowledge (A/B testing).
• Proven track record of launching features and maintaining them in production.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of engineers to design, build and test new features for MongoDB Atlas.
• Contribute to and lead complex technical projects.
• Define delivery dates balancing technical feasibility with market pace.
• Collaborate with product, design and analytics teams to consider user perspective.
• Develop codebase, best practices, and design principles with the team.
• Mentor and grow team members.
