Job summary

MongoDB is seeking an Engineering Manager to join the Atlas Growth Team in Dublin. You will lead a team building features for MongoDB Atlas, our developer data platform that drives a large portion of revenue.

The role focuses on onboarding flows, monetization improvements, and advanced cluster management tooling, collaborating with product, design and analytics to ship high-impact experiences. The position supports hybrid work from Dublin with strong leadership and technical depth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• At least 2 years of people management experience.
• Experience building large-scale distributed backend systems.
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Strong understanding of product analytics and data-driven decision making.
• Experience with A/B testing and online experimentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers to design, build and test new features for MongoDB Atlas.
• Contribute to and lead complex technical projects across the stack.
• Define the team's roadmap with cross-functional partners and set delivery dates balancing feasibility and market pace.
• Collaborate with product, design and analytics to build user-focused technical solutions.
• Mentor team members and promote best practices, design principles, and code quality.
• Drive learning, growth, and technical excellence within the team.
