Job summary

The Galway Hooker in Dublin is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our busy kitchen team, focused on fresh seafood and consistently high standards in a fast-paced environment.

You will support the Head Chef and the wider team in day-to-day kitchen operations, manage your section during service, and contribute to stock control, HACCP compliance, and a clean, well-organised kitchen.

Qualifications

• Experience as Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef ready to step up.
• Experience in a very high-volume kitchen environment.
• Passion for fresh food and seafood cuisine.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and presenting dishes to a consistently high standard
• Managing your section efficiently during service
• Assisting with stock control, ordering, and minimising waste
• Ensuring HACCP and food safety standards are maintained at all times
• Supporting junior kitchen staff and maintaining strong teamwork
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and professional kitchen environment
