Job summary

White Recruitment Limited seeks an experienced Residential HVAC Sales Engineer to drive sales of residential air source heat pumps and renewable heating systems across Dublin and Leinster, building relationships with plumbing and heating contractors, installers, housebuilders and developers.

The role blends technical product knowledge with account management, quotations, site visits and training for installers, with a Monday–Friday pattern and a company car or car allowance on offer.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical sales, field sales or business development.
• Background in residential heating, plumbing, heat pumps or renewable energy.
• Good understanding of domestic heating systems and air source heat pumps.
• Experience selling to plumbing contractors, heating installers, merchants or residential developers.
• Knowledge of hot water cylinders, heating controls and associated equipment advantageous.
• Strong account management and relationship-building skills.
• Commercially driven with the ability to identify new sales opportunities.
• Comfortable discussing technical products with installers and contractors.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Full driving licence.
• Candidates currently working as Heating Sales Engineers, Heat Pump Sales Engineers, Area Sales Managers, Technical Sales Representatives or Business Development Managers are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Develop sales of residential air source heat pumps and renewable heating systems.
• Build relationships with plumbing and heating contractors, heat pump installers and housebuilders.
• Generate new business opportunities across new-build and retrofit residential projects.
• Promote heat pumps, hot water cylinders, buffer tanks and associated equipment.
• Provide technical advice on equipment selection and system applications.
• Support installers with product specifications and technical enquiries.
• Work with residential developers to secure heating equipment specifications.
• Prepare quotations and commercial proposals.
• Manage existing customer accounts while developing new business.
• Deliver product presentations and technical training to installers.
• Attend customer meetings, trade events and site visits.
• Work closely with internal technical and customer support teams.
