Job summary
Orange Recruitment presents an opportunity for an experienced Heating & Plumbing Engineer based in Dublin, responsible for diagnosing, servicing, maintaining, and repairing domestic and commercial heating systems at customer sites. You will be the on-site face of the company, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and to high professional standards.
Key duties include servicing gas boilers, fault finding, inspections, and reporting.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to diagnose faults on boilers and heating systems.
- Experience with servicing domestic/commercial heating equipment.
- Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
Responsibilities
- Complete routine servicing of gas boilers and central heating systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair faults on boilers and heating equipment.
- Perform system inspections and safety checks per regulations.
- Diagnose performance issues and implement repairs.
- Ensure safe and reliable operation of heating systems.
- Complete job sheets and certifications accurately.
- Advise customers on repairs and maintenance.
- Deliver high workmanship while managing appointments.
- Maintain safety procedures.
- Participate in on-call rota when required.
