Job summary

White Recruitment Limited in Lucan, Dublin is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Sales Engineer to drive sales of commercial heating solutions and heat pumps. You will build relationships with M&E consultants, mechanical contractors and developers, advise on specifications and prepare quotations.

The role offers a performance-based bonus, a company car or car allowance, pension and broad training, with a Monday–Friday working week and long-term career progression in a growing renewables

Qualifications

• Experience in technical sales, specification sales or sales engineering.
• Background in commercial heating, HVAC, heat pumps or building services.
• Good understanding of commercial heating systems and mechanical plant.
• Experience selling to M&E consultants, mechanical contractors or developers.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and project requirements.
• Strong relationship-building and business development skills.
• Commercially focused with ability to manage longer project sales cycles.
• Confident delivering technical presentations and discussing system solutions.
• Mechanical engineering or building services qualifications advantageous.
• Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Develop sales of commercial and industrial air-to-water heat pump systems.
• Build relationships with M&E consultants, mechanical contractors and developers.
• Generate new business opportunities across commercial heating projects.
• Promote heat pump solutions for offices, apartment developments, education, healthcare and industrial applications.
• Work with consultants to secure product specifications on upcoming projects.
• Provide technical advice on heating equipment selection and applications.
• Review project requirements, specifications and mechanical drawings.
• Prepare quotations and technical proposals alongside internal design engineers.
• Attend client meetings, site visits and technical presentations.
• Maintain a strong pipeline of projects and sales opportunities.
