Smartling is seeking a Business Development Representative for a remote, work-from-home role based in Ireland. You will source and engage with high-potential prospects, working closely with marketing and sales to ensure steady new customer acquisition.

The role emphasizes consultative discovery, accurate Salesforce records, and becoming a Smartling product expert. You will develop outreach strategies via email and social channels, qualify leads, and collaborate with Account Executives to close

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 1 year customer-facing experience.
• Remote-work readiness with home office setup.

Responsibilities

• Source and engage with high-potential prospects in collaboration with marketing and sales.
• Develop and execute outreach strategies via email, Zoom and social channels.
• Articulate Smartling’s value proposition to prospects and handle objections.
• Qualify prospects and hand off to Account Executives when there is fit.
• Record and manage prospect data in Salesforce.com accurately.
• Maintain deep product knowledge and awareness of competitive landscape.
