Smartling is seeking a Business Development Representative for a remote, work-from-home role based in Ireland. You will qualify active buying interest and bridge marketing and sales to ensure high-quality new customer acquisition.

The role focuses on developing outreach strategies, engaging high-potential prospects, and transitioning qualified leads to Account Executives while continuously learning Smartling’s AI-native translation platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 1 year customer-facing experience.
• Home office setup conducive for remote work and ability to work effectively as a remote team member.

Responsibilities

• Source and engage with high-potential prospects alongside marketing and sales.
• Develop and execute outreach strategies via email, Zoom, and social channels.
• Articulate Smartling’s value proposition to prospects; handle questions and objections.
• Hand-off qualified prospects to Account Executives.
• Diligently record and manage prospect data in Salesforce.com.
• Maintain deep product knowledge and industry trends as a Smartling ambassador.
• Represent Smartling at industry events and conferences.
