Job summary

Corporate HR Ireland in Cork is seeking a commercially driven Human Resources Solutions Business Development Manager to join our Cork team on a permanent basis. Reporting to the CEO & Head of Sales Ireland, you will manage the end-to-end business development process from lead generation to closing new business.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business development, B2B sales, account management or a similar commercial role.
• A track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Confidence engaging with senior decision-makers and securing new business independently.
• A proactive, commercially minded and target-driven approach.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple opportunities.
• Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
• A full driving licence and access to a vehicle, where required for business travel.

Responsibilities

• Achieve agreed sales, revenue and business development targets.
• Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities within target markets.
• Generate leads through networking, referrals, LinkedIn, outbound sales and industry events.
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and develop relationships with key decision-makers.
• Arrange and conduct client meetings, presentations and commercial negotiations.
• Prepare compelling proposals, tenders and business development presentations.
• Manage and develop client relationships, identifying opportunities for retention, upselling and cross-selling.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular pipeline and performance reports.
• Identify new markets, sectors and strategic partnerships to support business growth.
• Work closely with the CEO and internal teams to ensure a coordinated approach to client acquisition and service delivery.
