This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious HR Advisor, Senior HR Generalist or Junior HRBP who is looking to take the next step into a broader business partnering role with increased stakeholder exposure and long-term career development opportunities. Working closely with operational leaders, you will provide practical HR support across a wide range of people initiatives while contributing to the development of a high-performing and engaged workforce.
Responsibilities
- Partner with managers to provide proactive and commercially focused HR support.
- Advise on employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, performance and conduct issues.
- Support managers with workforce planning and organisational development initiatives.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment activities, from identifying hiring needs through to onboarding.
- Coordinate employee onboarding and probation processes, ensuring a positive employee experience.
- Support performance management, talent development and succession planning initiatives.
- Assist managers in identifying learning and development requirements within their teams.
- Support organisational change, restructuring and employee transition projects.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR system data.
- Produce HR reports, metrics and management information to support decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies and HR best practice.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes, systems and procedures.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor across the business.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a broad HR Generalist, HR Advisor or similar role.
- Strong experience managing a range of employee relations issues.
- Proven experience supporting recruitment, onboarding and employee lifecycle activities.
- Sound knowledge of Irish employment legislation and HR best practice.
- Experience working within a busy, fast-paced and operational environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence and support managers at all levels.
- Commercially aware with a pragmatic and solutions-focused approach.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- High level of professionalism, discretion and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
- Experience within construction, engineering, manufacturing, utilities, logistics or other project-led environments.
- Exposure to multi-site or international workforces.
- Experience supporting operations across Ireland, the UK or Europe.
- Familiarity with BambooHR or similar HRIS platforms.
- Degree in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline.
- CIPD qualification or equivalent professional accreditation.
