Reporting To: HR Director

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive, commercial, and pragmatic HR Manager to lead human resources operations across Ireland. This is a critical management role within a rapidly growing international group.

As the operational and strategic HR lead for Ireland, you will partner closely with local Managing Directors, site leadership, and regional HR Directors to drive organizational integration, streamline HR processes, and support managers through ongoing business growth.

This role manages a dedicated local team of HR Generalists and serves as a vital bridge between global corporate HR initiatives and local site execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Business Partnering & Coaching: Act as a trusted advisor to site leadership and department managers. Focus heavily on coaching line managers to build strong people management capabilities.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and support a high-performing team of site-based HR Generalists.
  • Group Project Integration: Translate and implement corporate Group HR initiatives, systems, and policies locally.
  • Post-Merger Integration & Culture: Continue driving the integration of distinct business units into a unified national brand culture following significant recent group growth.
  • Employee Relations & Compliance: Oversee high-level ER, ensuring full compliance with Irish employment legislation, HSA guidelines, and ISO standards across warehouse, transport, and commercial environments.
  • Talent Acquisition & Retention: Work closely with operational leaders to navigate recruitment in a fast-paced environment and implement retention strategies across both white-collar and operational/blue-collar teams.
Requirements & Key Criteria
  • Experience: Proven track record in a HR Manager or HR Business Partner role, ideally within high-tempo, operational environments such as Logistics, Supply Chain, Distribution, Manufacturing, or FMCG.
  • Blue-Collar & White-Collar Exposure: Comfortable navigating multi-site operational environments featuring warehouse, transport, and office-based workforces.
  • Post-Merger & Growth Mindset: Demonstrated experience in fast-paced or expanding environments, bringing multiple site cultures together, and centralizing HR support functions.
  • Systems Experience: Familiarity with modern HRIS platforms is highly advantageous.
  • Approach: A "can-do" attitude, high self-motivation, strong resilience, and the ability to get things done independently.
  • Travel: Access to own transport and willingness to travel to operational sites as necessary.
