Job summary

Mason Alexander supports a remote-first SaaS business in recruiting an Operations & Finance Lead to own day-to-day finance and people operations. Reporting to the COO, this hands-on role covers finance ops, HR, recruitment coordination, systems administration and team logistics.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years in operations, finance or people ops, with payroll, supplier payments and experience with HRIS or Deel.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in operations, finance administration or people operations within a small or medium-sized business.
• Hands-on experience with payment runs, payroll inputs and external accountants.
• Experience with an HRIS or EOR platform, ideally Deel.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly supplier payments, payroll inputs, expenses and invoicing, working closely with external accountants and the CFO.
• Oversee HR administration, including contracts, onboarding, offboarding, leave and benefits.
• Coordinate recruitment processes, from interview scheduling through to offers and references.
• Manage company systems, access, renewals and compliance documentation.
• Organise team events, board meetings and international travel.
• Use AI tools to streamline processes, automate tasks and improve operational efficiency.
