Job summary

Electica Europe Ltd. is seeking a Finance Manager to support the Financial Controller and CFO in building a world-class finance function for the UK and Ireland, with responsibility across geographies.

Fully remote in Ireland, the role focuses on accurate financial reporting, budgeting, payroll, and internal controls, while collaborating with senior finance peers to drive efficiency and integrity across our campaigns.

Qualifications

• Qualified or part qualified ICAEW, ACCA or CIMA with at least 3 years of accounting and finance experience.
• Proven experience as a Finance manager or in a similar role.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Experience with creating financial statements.
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process.
• Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
• Motivated team player with good interpersonal skills and strong desire to support the team in meeting organisational objectives.
• Ability to resolve problems and queries quickly and efficiently.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Able to provide quality and detailed financial information to the Finance Team within tight reporting deadlines.
• Appreciative of the importance of the “internal” client and participation in the agency’s cultural activities.
• Results orientated and excellent problem solver with accurate processing of financial data with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Own all aspects of financial management and reporting.
• Handle corporate accounting, tax filing, regulatory and financial reporting, budgets and forecasts, payroll processing and internal controls.
• Manage accounting operations including billing, A/R, A/P, reconciliations, intercompany balances and GL.
• Focus on revenue recognition, cost of sales and client profitability.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and explain variances.
• Coordinate regulatory reporting and audits; liaise with accountants for year-end filings.
• Budgeting and forecasting coordination with CFO and FC; support additional analyses.
• Assist others in the Finance Team with duties as required.
