Job summary

Morgan McKinley in Dublin is seeking a qualified Regulatory Accountant to join the finance function and report to the CFO. You will deliver regulatory reporting, financial accounting activities and statutory compliance, ensuring accuracy and robust controls.

This role emphasises process improvement, automation and the adoption of AI-enabled tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy. You’ll work with internal teams and outsourced providers in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
• Minimum of three years' PQE in a related role.
• Experience in regulated financial services is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements and financial accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Financial Accounting & Month-End Close: manage US GAAP reporting, month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations and financial analysis.
• Statutory Reporting & Audit: oversee statutory compliance, coordinate external audits and prepare financial statements.
• Regulatory Reporting: own regulatory reporting, ensure timely submissions in line with regulations.
• Regulatory Capital: monitor and manage regulatory capital requirements for compliance.
• Safeguarding: develop safeguarding processes and maintain regulatory compliance.
