Job summary

BNY Mellon in Dublin seeks a Director of Financial Reporting to lead the regional financial reporting function for our fund administration clients. You will set strategy, oversee GAAP compliance, and partner with auditors and regulators to ensure accuracy and timeliness of statements.

You will guide senior stakeholders, drive process improvements, and champion AI-enabled reporting initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience managing large teams of financial reporting professionals.
• Deep technical accounting expertise across IFRS, U.S. GAAP, Lux GAAP, with investment fund structures knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead a regional Financial Reporting organization with strategic oversight of client relationships and service delivery.
• Develop and execute business plans, establish frameworks, priorities, and performance standards.
• Provide leadership on complex financial statement disclosures, regulatory requirements, and audit coordination.
