Job summary

Morgan McKinley is seeking a Financial Accountant to join the International Statutory Controllership team in Dublin. You will support a portfolio of EMEA entities from local statutory compliance and US GAAP reporting perspectives, and you will have the opportunity to apply AI tooling in statutory and compliance workflows.

Qualifications

• ACCA/ACA or equivalent recognised accounting qualification.
• 4 years post-qualification experience in the preparation, review and finalisation of financial statements.
• Experience with US GAAP, IFRS and local GAAPs is desirable.
• AI-curious with hands-on AI applications in accounting or compliance.

Responsibilities

• Support the management of a portfolio of multiple EMEA entities from local statutory compliance and US GAAP reporting point of view.
• Manage processes and multiple stakeholders for the preparation of Statutory Financial Statements.
• Assist with the preparation and coordination of Statutory Audits.
• Support processes for the preparation of Corporation Tax and VAT returns.
• Oversee and review entity compliance completed by local and international outsourced partners.
• Take ownership of defined projects requiring specialist technical knowledge.
• Support the Finance team in the design, testing and roll-out of financial reporting systems, tools and processes.
• Initiate, lead and manage process improvement and automation projects to build for scale, including the application of AI tooling to statutory and compliance workflows.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI-based solutions to recurring accounting, reporting and compliance tasks, and help build, test and document them for use across the team.
