Description du poste

We are seeking a Financial Accountant to join the International Statutory Controllership team in Dublin.

The role supports a portfolio of EMEA legal entities from a local statutory compliance and US GAAP reporting perspective, and offers the opportunity to build deep expertise in complex areas impacting our international financial statements.

This is a team that actively builds and uses AI-based solutions in its day-to-day statutory work, so we are looking for someone who is genuinely AI-curious and can point to real examples of applying AI in an accounting setting.

The successful candidate must be a driven, high-energy, detail-oriented individual who works well with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. They will be expected to problem solve, recommend solutions and exercise good business judgment while performing their function. This is a great role for anyone looking to join a team that strives to be best in class by continuously learning, improving and delivering to keep us compliant.

Responsibilities
  • Support the management of a portfolio of multiple EMEA entities from a local statutory compliance and US GAAP reporting point of view

  • Support processes for the preparation of Corporation Tax and VAT returns
  • Oversee and review entity compliance completed by local and international outsourced partners
  • Take ownership of defined projects requiring specialist technical knowledge
  • Support the Finance team in the design, testing and roll-out of financial reporting systems, tools and processes
  • Initiate, lead and manage process improvement and automation projects to build for scale, including the application of AI tooling to statutory and compliance workflows

  • Relevant recent industry experience with a large, fast-growing multinational preferred, but not required
  • Strong computer and analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel
  • Experience with ERP and financial reporting systems (e.g. Oracle Fusion GL, statutory reporting / disclosure management tools) an advantage
  • AI-curious and demonstrably hands‑on with AI — able to give concrete, real‑world examples of where they have used AI-based solutions in a financial accounting or compliance setting, and what the outcome was
  • Comfortable experimenting with AI tools to automate manual accounting processes, with a clear understanding of their limitations and the review and control implications
