Job summary

Building Staff Solutions seeks a Project Manager for a major building project in Killarney, Co. Kerry. You will oversee site teams, subcontractors, programme delivery and design coordination from construction through handover.

The role requires a degree in civil or related field, with progression from Senior Engineer to PM and strong main contractor background. Excellent leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Proven progression from Senior Engineer to Project Manager.
• Strong main contractor experience on large building projects.
• Experience with in-situ concrete frames and civil works.
• Proven track record of delivering projects safely, on time and within budget.
• Strong leadership, commercial awareness and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day delivery of the project.
• Lead site management, engineering and subcontractor teams.
• Monitor programme, progress, quality and key milestones.
• Coordinate the client, design team, consultants and commercial team.
• Manage RFIs, design development and technical issues.
• Chair project meetings and provide regular progress reports.
• Maintain the highest health, safety and quality standards.
• Ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget.
