Job summary

PE Global Recruitment are assisting a market-leading tier 1 construction company in recruiting a Construction Manager for a major project in Kildare, Ireland. This full-time, permanent role leads day-to-day construction activities while delivering safety, quality and programme targets.

The ideal candidate will bring 7+ years of site management experience across commercial, industrial, residential, fit-out or refurbishment projects, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of site management experience.
• Experience across commercial, industrial, residential, fit-out or refurbishment projects.

Responsibilities

• Managing and implementing HSEQ systems and procedures on site.
• Overseeing site set-up, security, logistics and traffic management.
• Coordinating deliveries, plant, labour and site resources.
• Supervising subcontractors, forepersons and site teams.
• Monitoring progress against the construction programme.
• Managing the sequencing of finishing trades to maximise quality and minimise reworking.
• Working closely with the Project Manager to ensure programme milestones are achieved.
• Monitoring labour, plant, site set-up and other project overheads.
• Maintaining high standards of health & safety, quality and site organisation.
