Job summary

Uniting Holding is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead high-rise residential and mixed-use developments from pre-construction through to completion. You will own coordination of complex projects, ensuring safety, programme compliance and budget adherence.

You will work with Development, Commercial and Design teams to deliver projects, fostering a high-performing culture across the broader team and ensuring effective stakeholder engagement with consultants, contractors and authorities.

Qualifications

  • Experience delivering high-rise residential and/or mixed-use developments.
  • Experience delivering on behalf of a developer or main contractor delivering complex projects.
  • Proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams, including approximately 8 direct staff.
  • Strong commercial, contractual and programme management experience.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and decision-making skills.
  • Thorough understanding of Irish construction legislation, Building Regulations and BCAR.
  • Degree qualified in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or related discipline or equivalent hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of high-rise residential and mixed-use developments through all project phases.
  • Develop and execute project strategies aligned with programme, commercial and business objectives.
  • Monitor project performance and proactively manage programme, risk and quality.
  • Lead, mentor and develop a multidisciplinary team of approximately 8 direct staff.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, continuous improvement and high performance.
  • Ensure appropriate resource planning across all stages of project delivery.
  • Work alongside our direct commercial team to manage budgets, procurement and project financial performance.
  • Monitor project programmes, identify risks and implement recovery strategies where required.
  • Drive value engineering initiatives without compromising quality or design intent.
  • Coordinate architects, engineers, contractors and specialist consultants throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure buildability, statutory compliance and effective design integration.
  • Oversee quality assurance, commissioning and successful project handover.
  • Build strong working relationships with internal teams, consultants, contractors, local authorities and statutory bodies.
  • Chair project meetings and provide regular reporting to senior leadership.
  • Act as the key point of contact throughout project delivery.
  • Champion a proactive safety culture across all projects.
  • Ensure compliance with Irish legislation, Building Regulations and BCAR requirements.
  • Maintain robust governance, reporting and risk management processes.

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of high‑rise residential and mixed‑use developments from pre‑construction through to completion. This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving programme, commercial performance, quality and safety while leading a multidisciplinary project team and building strong relationships with consultants, contractors and key stakeholders.

The Role

As Project Manager, you will take ownership of the coordination and execution of complex developments, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on programme and within budget.

Working closely with the Development, Commercial and Design teams, you will lead project delivery while creating a collaborative, high‑performing culture across the wider project team.
