Job summary

KSC - Building & Civil Engineering Contractors is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee construction projects throughout Dublin and North Leinster. This role includes managing all aspects of project value and profitability from planning through to completion.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of Civil Engineering experience, strong leadership skills, and a thorough understanding of construction methods and regulations. A valid driver’s license is required for site visits.

KSC Building & Civil Engineering Contractors are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee construction projects from planning through to completion of various projects in Dublin and North Leinster area. Our projects include all aspects from demolition; civil & ground works as well as structural concrete works.

The ideal candidate will manage various projects from tender stage through to completion. Covering all aspects of health & safety, quality, budgets, schedules, subcontractors, programing and resourcing while ensuring project value and profitability. Including experience in all engineering aspects of the project.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of construction projects.
• Develop project schedules, budgets, and work plans.
• Oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel.
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies.
• Review contracts, drawings, and specifications.
• Manage project documentation, reporting, and change orders.
• Identify and resolve construction issues and delays proactively.
• Communicate regularly with clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams.
• Track project costs and approve invoices and expenditures.
• Ensure successful project closeout and handover.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years Civil Engineering experience with commercial awareness preferable.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Experience in managing projects in confined sites & dealing with multiple trades on such sites.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to present submittals on all materials being used and present to client in advance of works commencing. Ability to review and present as built drawings for BCAR handovers.
• Competent with AutoCAD to read drawings and program works in an organised fashion.
• Proficient in recording and maintaining all test records.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as required.
• Assist in building a team and growing the workforce within KSC.
