GEDON™ | Precision Search for Complex Construction in Dublin is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver a major residential development. You will lead site teams, manage programme, quality, safety and stakeholder engagement from construction through handover.

The role offers autonomy with direct access to senior management and a clear pathway to Senior Project Manager or Project Director as the pipeline grows, along with a salary up to €115,000 and a performance bonus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within a main contractor environment.
• Strong track record delivering large-scale residential or mixed-use developments.
• Experience taking projects through construction to completion and handover.
• Strong understanding of construction programming, sequencing and procurement.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary project and site teams.
• Excellent client, consultant and subcontractor management capabilities.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of project financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of major residential projects.
• Lead and coordinate Site Managers, Engineers and wider project teams.
• Develop, manage and drive the construction programme.
• Coordinate subcontractors and ensure packages are delivered in line with programme requirements.
• Work closely with commercial teams to monitor project performance, procurement and cost.
• Manage relationships with clients, consultants, design teams and key stakeholders.
• Identify programme and delivery risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Ensure the highest standards of quality, health & safety and environmental compliance.
• Chair project and progress meetings and provide regular reporting to senior management.
• Manage projects through completion, commissioning and handover.
• Mentor and develop members of the project delivery team.

We are partnered with a leading Irish main contractor with an established reputation for delivering high-quality, large-scale residential developments across Dublin.

With a strong pipeline of secured work and several significant residential schemes moving through delivery, the business is looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of a major project in Dublin.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join a well-established contractor and take responsibility for the successful delivery of a major residential development.

You’ll lead the project from construction through to completion, coordinating site teams, subcontractors, consultants and commercial functions while maintaining responsibility for programme, quality and overall project performance.

The position offers significant autonomy, direct access to senior management and a clear pathway towards Senior Project Manager and Project Director level as the business continues to grow.

The Projects

You’ll be responsible for the delivery of major residential developments across Dublin, including:

• High-density residential schemes
• Mixed-use residential projects
• High-value residential projects delivered within demanding programmes

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

• Degree qualified in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Previous experience with a Tier 1 or established Irish main contractor is advantageous.
• Strong leadership, communication and decision-making skills.
• Excellent understanding of residential construction methodologies and project controls.
