Job summary

Search Talent is recruiting for a growing Irish contractor to appoint an experienced Project Manager who can lead multidisciplinary site teams across Leinster, delivering complex residential, commercial and industrial developments. You will take full responsibility for delivering projects safely, on programme and within budget, while collaborating with clients, consultants and subcontractors.

3+ years' experience, main contractor background, and a Construction Management or Civil Engineering

Are you a Project Manager who enjoys taking ownership, leading high-performing site teams and delivering quality projects from start to finish?

We're recruiting for a growing Irish contractor with an outstanding reputation for delivering complex residential, commercial and industrial developments. Thanks to a strong pipeline of secured work, they're looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager who wants to play a key role in the successful delivery of exciting projects across Leinster.

This isn't a role where you'll simply keep the programme moving, you'll have real influence over how projects are delivered, working alongside an experienced leadership team that values collaboration, quality and continuous improvement.

The Opportunity

As Project Manager you'll take full responsibility for delivering projects safely, on programme and within budget while leading multidisciplinary site teams and maintaining excellent relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.

You'll be trusted to make decisions, solve problems and drive projects forward from commencement through to handover.

Every day brings a different challenge, whether that's coordinating site operations, managing programme milestones, improving efficiencies or ensuring exceptional quality standards are maintained throughout the build.

What You'll Be Doing

• Taking overall responsibility for the successful delivery of major construction projects.
• Leading and motivating site management teams and subcontractors.
• Planning works, managing programmes and ensuring milestones are achieved.
• Managing project budgets, procurement and commercial performance.
• Working closely with clients, architects, engineers and design teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identifying risks before they become problems and implementing practical solutions.
• Driving quality, health & safety and programme performance on site.
• Building long-term relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
• Creating an environment where your team can perform at their very best.

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys leading projects and getting the best from people.

You'll likely have:

• 3+ years' experience managing construction projects.
• Experience working with a main contractor.
• A qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• The confidence to make decisions and keep projects moving.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach.
