Job description

We are partnered with a leading construction and engineering contractor delivering some of Ireland's largest and most technically complex projects.

With a substantial pipeline of secured work across Data Centres, Life Sciences and Pharmaceutical developments, the business is looking to appoint a Project Lead to take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of major projects across Dublin and the wider Irish market.

The business is open to considering both experienced Project Leads and ambitious Senior Project Managers ready to make the step into project leadership.

The Opportunity

This is a significant operational leadership opportunity offering responsibility for major, technically complex construction projects from pre-construction through delivery, commissioning and final handover.

As Project Lead, you'll take overall ownership of project performance, leading multidisciplinary construction teams and coordinating Commercial, Planning, Design, Engineering and M&E functions to ensure successful delivery.

You'll act as the senior operational point of contact for the client while maintaining responsibility for programme, quality, safety and overall project performance.

For a high-performing Senior Project Manager, this represents a genuine opportunity to step into Project Lead level, supported by an established senior leadership structure and experienced project teams.

The Projects

You'll have the opportunity to lead major technically complex developments across multiple sectors, including:

  • Data Centres and Mission Critical facilities
  • Life Sciences facilities
  • Advanced Manufacturing projects
  • Large-scale technically complex construction programmes

The diversity of the project pipeline provides the opportunity to build experience across multiple high-growth sectors rather than being restricted to a single project type.

  • Identify project risks and ensure appropriate mitigation and recovery strategies are implemented.
  • Work closely with commercial teams to maintain strong financial and contractual performance.
  • Lead senior project meetings and provide clear reporting to company leadership.
  • Drive commissioning, completion and successful project handover.
  • Develop and mentor Project Managers, Construction Managers and the wider delivery team.
  • Promote a high-performance culture focused on safety, quality and programme certainty.

  • Degree qualified in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Experience working for a Tier 1, leading main contractor or major engineering contractor.
