Due to continued growth and an expanding project portfolio, a leading Irish contractor are now seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team in Dublin and take responsibility for the successful delivery of major civil and marine projects.

The Role
As Project Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the successful planning, management and delivery of assigned projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards.
You will work closely with the client, design teams, subcontractors, site management and commercial teams to ensure effective project delivery from pre-construction through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of civil infrastructure and/or marine projects.
- Manage projects from planning and mobilisation through to completion and handover.
- Develop and maintain detailed project programmes, ensuring key milestones and deadlines are achieved.
- Lead and coordinate project teams, including Site Managers, Engineers, subcontractors and specialist contractors.
- Manage project budgets, costs, resources and commercial performance.
- Liaise closely with clients, consultants, local authorities and other key stakeholders.
- Ensure all works are delivered in accordance with contract specifications and quality requirements.
- Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions where required.
- Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with all relevant Health & Safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.
- Review project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Manage procurement, subcontractor appointments and supplier relationships.
- Attend and lead project meetings, providing regular progress reports to senior management and clients.
- Manage variations, change control and contractual requirements.
- Ensure effective communication across all project stakeholders.
- Drive a strong culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Relevant third-level qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or a related discipline.
- Proven experience working as a Project Manager within the construction or civil engineering sector.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, project management processes and contract administration.
- Demonstrable experience managing project programmes, budgets, resources and teams.
- Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work effectively under pressure.
- A full driving licence is desirable.
Package
- €80,000 – €90,000 salary, depending on experience.
