Unijobs on behalf of our public sector client have a requirement for a Project Manager (Data, Reporting & Learning) to join their team. The duration of this post is 12 months initially with likely extensions thereafter. Location is flexible / hybrid working (must be available to attend client meetings / workshops as required.) Working 35 hours per week, the successful candidate will be employed as an agency employee and will be paid an hourly rate of €33.52 per hour based on an annualised salary of €61,219. You will accrue 30 days annual leave per year and paid Bank Holidays.
Role Purpose
The Project Manager - Data, Reporting & Learning will play a pivotal role in supporting the successful delivery of transformation initiatives through effective programme management, performance reporting, data governance and organisational learning. The role will provide leadership across data analysis, reporting, performance monitoring, knowledge management and continuous improvement activities. Working closely with Grade VIII leaders, the successful candidate will ensure that programme information is translated into meaningful insights that support decision-making, drive improvement and demonstrate outcomes. This role acts as a bridge between programme leadership, operational services, digital and analytical teams, ensuring that high-quality data, reporting and learning processes are embedded to support transformation delivery and long-term service improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Data & Information Management Lead the development and implementation of data management processes to support programme and service objectives. Ensure the collection, validation and analysis of data as required including programme monitoring, solution build and decision-making. Promote data quality, consistency and governance across all reporting activities. Work with operational, clinical, digital and analytical teams to develop robust reporting solutions, data frameworks and reporting requirements.
- Reporting & Performance Management Develop and maintain performance dashboards, reports and metrics to support programme oversight and governance. Provide regular analysis and interpretation of data to identify trends, risks, opportunities and areas for improvement. Ensure reporting outputs are accurate, timely and aligned with organisational and programme priorities. Support senior leaders through the provision of high-quality management information and performance insights.
- Learning & Continuous Improvement Lead the development of mechanisms to capture, evaluate and disseminate lessons learned across programmes and services. Ensure learning from implementation, evaluation and operational experience is embedded into future planning and delivery. Promote a culture of continuous improvement, evidence-informed decision-making and organisational learning. Coordinate programme reviews, post-implementation evaluations and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Essential Experience
- Experience in project, programme, transformation, data management or reporting roles within healthcare, social care or a complex public sector environment.
- Experience of developing and presenting management information, dashboards or performance reports.
- Experience of analysing and interpreting complex data to support decision-making and service improvement.
- Experience supporting or coordinating staff across different grades or professional disciplines.
- Experience working with a wide range of stakeholders to achieve programme or organisational objectives.
- Experience of monitoring performance, outcomes or benefits within a programme or service environment.
