Unijobs on behalf of our public sector client have a requirement for a suitably skilled Business Transformation Manager to join their team. The duration of this post is 12 months initially with possible extensions thereafter. This role will be Flexible/Hybrid - The successful candidate must be able to attend onsite meetings & workshops as required.
Working 35 hours per week, the successful candidate will be employed as an agency employee and will be paid an hourly rate of €33.52 per hour based on an annualised salary of €61,219 You will accrue 30 days annual leave per year and paid Bank Holidays.
Role Overview:
- Lead and coordinate areas such as training, communication, change management, testing, benefits tracking and ongoing support.
- Ensure the new way of working is well planned, effectively implemented, adopted by staff and sustained over time.
- Translate strategic plans into practical, operational delivery.
- Work closely with senior leaders and provide guidance and support to colleagues within the team.
- Monitor whether the change is delivering its intended benefits and ensure there is a sustainable approach for ongoing operational support.
Key Responsibilities:
Business & Transformation Management
- Support leadership with programme planning, dependency management, risks, and delivery oversight.
- Ensure transformation activities align with organisational objectives, clinical priorities and operational realities.
Change & Adoption
- Lead the development and implementation of structured change management approaches.
- Ensure stakeholders across community services are engaged, informed and supported through change.
- Oversee readiness assessments, go‑live impact planning, and post‑deployment stabilisation activities.
Training & Capability Development
- Oversee training needs analysis, training delivery models and learning materials.
- Ensure training approaches are role‑based, accessible and aligned with service workflows.
Benefits Management
- Lead the development and tracking of benefits realisation plans.
- Work with operational leads to define measurable benefits linked to care quality, efficiency and staff experience.
- Monitor, report and escalation benefits progress and risks to leadership.
Testing & Readiness Coordination
- Coordinate and assure business‑led testing, including UAT and service readiness activities.
- Ensure clinical and operational user involvement in testing processes.
- Confirm business sign‑off for readiness to deploy and transition to BA
- Lead the design and implementation of an effective post‑go‑live BAU support model.
- Define roles, escalation routes, support processes and handover arrangements.
- Ensure accountability is embedded within operational teams for ongoing system use and improvement.
- Provide day‑to‑day direction, coaching and professional support.
- Allocate work, review outputs, and build transformation capability across the team.
- Foster a collaborative, supportive and improvement‑focused team culture.
Governance, Reporting & Assurance
- Prepare reports, papers and updates for programme committees and senior stakeholders.
- Manage risks, issues and dependencies within the business change remit.
- Ensure compliance with organisational governance and assurance frameworks.
Experience:
- Experience in implementing a transformation or change programme or business management experience within health, social care or a complex public‑sector environment.
- Experience working across multiple change disciplines
- Experience of supporting or coordinating staff in different grades or roles.
- Experience engaging with clinical or operational stakeholders.
- Experience working within community or integrated care services.
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong business and operational understanding with the ability to translate strategy into delivery.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Strong planning, coordination and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a complex, fast‑moving environment.
- Confident in reporting, presenting and escalating to senior leaders.
