Job summary

Howden Ireland is seeking a Personal Lines Account Executive to manage policy renewals, retain clients and provide tailored insurance solutions. You will identify new business opportunities and build strong relationships with portfolio clients.

Ideal candidates have 1-3 years’ insurance experience, APA Personal Lines or Grandfathered CPD, and solid knowledge of personal lines products. A hybrid working arrangement is available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in an insurance role.
• APA Personal Lines or Grandfathered with proof of up-to-date CPD.
• Excellent technical product knowledge of personal lines insurance.
• Proven track record of managing a portfolio of clients, particularly renewals.
• Proficient in negotiating terms to achieve favorable outcomes for clients and company.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients to foster loyalty.
• Oversee the renewal process for personal lines insurance policies and negotiate renewals.
• Evaluate clients' risk profiles and provide expert advice on suitable products.
• Provide exceptional service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Ensure New Business/Renewal targets are achieved.
• Follow company compliance and renewal procedures and contribute to policy documents.
• Stay up-to-date with market practice, pricing, and product development feedback.
• Collaborate with other teams to support training and product development.
• Attend client visits with Management as required.
• Adhere to Handbook and Procedures Manual compliance.
