Job summary

Howden Ireland is seeking a Personal Lines Account Executive to manage policy renewals, strengthen client relationships, and provide tailored insurance solutions. Based across our nationwide offices, you will help optimise client portfolios and drive growth in our Personal Lines team.

Reporting to the Team Leader and head of existing business, you will evaluate risk, negotiate terms, and ensure timely renewals while maintaining high levels of service and compliance.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in an insurance role.
• APA Personal Lines CPD or Grandfathered with CPD proof.
• Strong knowledge of personal lines products and market.
• Proven track record managing client portfolios and renewals.
• Skilled in negotiating terms for client and company.
• Able to build and maintain strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Maintain relationships with existing clients and foster long-term loyalty.
• Oversee renewal process for personal lines policies with terms review and timely completion.
• Evaluate clients' risk profiles and advise on suitable insurance products.
• Provide excellent service by addressing inquiries and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Ensure New Business/Renewal targets are achieved.
• Follow Compliance and office procedures including New Business Development and Renewal Procedures.
