Job summary

Howden Ireland, based in Wexford, is seeking a Personal Lines Account Executive on a permanent basis. You will manage policy renewals, aim for high client retention and tailor insurance solutions for our existing client base.

Reporting to the Team Leader and head of existing business, you will grow the portfolio by identifying new business opportunities and maintaining strong relationships with clients. The role requires negotiation and strong customer service skills to drive growth.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years' experience in an insurance role.
• APA Personal Lines CPD or Grandfathered with proof of up-to-date CPD.
• Excellent knowledge of personal lines insurance market.
• Proven track record in renewals and addressing client inquiries.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients.
• Oversee the renewal process for personal lines policies.
• Evaluate clients' risk profiles and advise on coverage options.
• Provide excellent service by addressing client inquiries and issues.
• Achieve New Business/Renewal targets.
• Collaborate with other teams for training and product development.
• Attend client visits with Management as required.
• Ensure compliance with Handbook and Procedures.
