Job summary

Engage People Recruitment’s client, a leading insurance brokerage, is seeking an experienced Personal Lines Account Executive to join their growing team in Ireland. You will manage an established portfolio with a strong focus on policy renewals, client retention and delivering tailored insurance solutions.

The role also offers opportunities to identify new business opportunities, build long-term client relationships and work in a commercially driven environment across flexible office locations

Qualifications

• 4 years' experience within the insurance industry.
• Minimum CIP qualification with evidence of up to date CPD.
• Strong technical knowledge of Personal Lines products and the Irish market.
• Proven experience managing a portfolio of clients, especially renewals and servicing.
• Strong negotiation skills to secure competitive terms for clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop an existing portfolio of Personal Lines clients.
• Oversee the full renewal process with timely policy completions.
• Assess client requirements and advise on suitable Personal Lines cover.
• Handle client queries and maintain high customer service standards.
• Achieve agreed New Business and Renewal targets.
• Identify opportunities to generate new business and grow relationships.
• Stay updated on market developments, pricing and service levels.
• Provide feedback on market trends and product developments.
• Collaborate with wider teams on training and operations.
• Attend client meetings and visits with management when required.
• Ensure full compliance with procedures and regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will play an integral role within the Personal Lines team, primarily managing an established portfolio of clients with a strong focus on policy renewals, client retention and delivering tailored insurance solutions.

The role will also involve identifying and developing new business opportunities where appropriate. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced insurance professional who enjoys building long term client relationships and working in a commercially focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and develop strong relationships with an existing portfolio of Personal Lines clients.
• Oversee the full renewal process, including reviewing policy terms, negotiating renewals and ensuring policies are completed within agreed timelines.
• Assess client requirements and provide advice on appropriate Personal Lines products and cover options.
• Handle client queries and resolve issues efficiently while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
• Achieve agreed New Business and Renewal targets.
• Identify opportunities to generate new business and grow existing client relationships.
• Stay up to date with market developments, product availability, pricing and service levels.
• Provide feedback to management on market trends and product developments.
• Work collaboratively with wider teams to support training, product development and operational efficiencies.

About You
