Job summary

Engage People Recruitment is assisting a leading Irish insurance broker to hire a Personal Lines Account Executive. You will manage an existing client portfolio, focus on renewals, client retention, and delivering tailored insurance solutions while seeking new business opportunities.

Ideal candidates will have at least 4 years in insurance, a CIP qualification with CPD, and strong knowledge of Personal Lines in the Irish market.

• Strong knowledge of Personal Lines insurance products and Irish market

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop strong relationships with an existing portfolio of Personal Lines clients.
• Oversee the full renewal process, including reviewing policy terms, negotiating renewals and ensuring policies are completed within agreed timelines.
• Assess client requirements and provide advice on Personal Lines cover options.
• Handle client queries and resolve issues with high service standards.
• Achieve agreed New Business and Renewal targets.
• Identify opportunities to generate new business and grow existing client relationships.
• Stay up to date with market developments, product availability, pricing and service levels.
• Provide feedback to management on market trends and product developments.
• Collaborate with wider teams on training, product development and operational efficiencies.
• Attend client meetings and visits with management as required.
• Ensure full compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.

Our client is a leading insurance brokerage seeking an experienced Personal Lines Account Executive to join their growing team.

The successful candidate will play an integral role within the Personal Lines team, primarily managing an established portfolio of clients with a strong focus on policy renewals, client retention and delivering tailored insurance solutions.

The role will also involve identifying and developing new business opportunities where appropriate. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced insurance professional who enjoys building long term client relationships and working in a commercially focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

About You

• 4 years' experience within the insurance industry.
• Minimum CIP qualification with evidence of up to date CPD.
• Strong technical knowledge of Personal Lines insurance products and the Irish insurance market.
• Proven experience managing a portfolio of clients, particularly across renewals and client servicing.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure competitive terms for clients.
• Excellent relationship management and communication skills.
• Commercially minded with a proven ability to achieve targets.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a wider team.
